FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Investigative Training

For many companies, especially small investigative agencies, it makes perfect sense to do a little investigative training. With many new high-paying jobs available around the world that require highly developed problem solving skills, training in this area is very important. The ability to solve complex problems is a learned trait and is something that is taught in many schools and colleges. If you were to teach your new recruits how to do some simple investigations, they could be very useful for you.

Training in this field may be available at your company or at another one. There are two basic types of training that you can choose from. One is classroom training and the other is a hands-on development. No matter what type of development is provided though, new employees will need to have the knowledge needed to perform their job duties. Without the necessary skills, the investigation skills are useless.

In order to get into a good company, investigative training will help you gain the skills you need to succeed. A lot of the new jobs being created require problem solving skills. So, if you want to be competitive in your field you have to be able to do just that.

One type of investigation that is often done involves looking at crimes that have occurred before. These could be crimes committed in other states or countries. These investigations are called case studies. Often the investigators will collaborate with another professional such as a police officer or a private detective. Together they investigate the new crime and write reports about it.

Another type of investigation which is widely performed is facial analysis. This involves looking at photographs of criminals taken before the crime was committed. This is often used to determine if they were guilty of the crime. Sometimes they can determine the type of weapon they had and how much money was involved.

There is a high demand for new investigators in the criminal justice field right now. There are many new positions opening and more are being created every year. The training you receive is very important because it prepares you to work in an ever changing environment.

Some of the training you receive will include surveillance techniques. You will learn about video cameras and how they are used. They also train you to use listening devices. This allows you to gather evidence from a suspect who is giving you no sign of telling you anything. If you are a witness to a crime then it is important that you know how to interview a suspect without them knowing you are watching them. All of this is necessary if you want to be a successful crime investigator.

If you plan to work in a government position then it would be wise to obtain formal investigative training. Even if you have a job at a private firm, you will still need to learn how to evaluate witnesses. Without proper training you may risk being fired. The best way to get the training you need is through online courses. They are affordable and you can take them at your convenience.

A basic investigation course should last about five hours. Some training programs require that you attend a class online or on the phone. If you are short on time then you can find a basic course on the Internet. Many of these courses are offered by well-known colleges or private organizations.

After completing the basic training program you will need to decide what you want to do with your training. If you are not interested in working in the field as a private detective then you should complete a forensic training program. This will help you in finding a job as a specialist. With a forensic background you will have many options. You can become a forensic anthropologist, a medical examiner, a crime analyst, a forensic technician and even a prison attorney.

If you are interested in working in the field as an investigator then you will need some additional investigation training. These investigation training programs vary in length. Some will last only a few weeks. Others can take years.

Whatever type of training you are interested in there is a program available for you. An investigation training program can help you in developing skills for working in the field. When you complete your investigation courses, you should have a good knowledge of how to collect evidence, document it properly and how to present your findings in a court of law.
